Instructions to the examiner:
a) Read the passage aloud clearly, paying attention to punctuation and the underlined words.
b) Read each sentence twice slowly, laying emphasis on the underlined words and give the candidates enough time to write the missing words.
c) Read through the passage again, allowing the candidates time to verify their spellings.
d) At the end, give the candidates three minutes to read through their work
To be read to candidates:
I am going to read five sentences t0 you twice. Listen attentively while I read for the first time. As I read the second lime, you will fill the spaces with the missing words. At the end, you will have three minutes to read over your work and make corrections.
1. COVIDI9 is a bad illness in the whole world.
2. People are asked to put on mask and wash their hands frequently.
3. Anyone who has it bas a running nose and cough.
3. Many sick persons are taken to the hospital.
4. Those who go late to the hospital die under oxygen.
